What other troll raids? As ZF is the sand troll city and the ice troll one is a zone and the only real troll race left is the dark troll one and they have no nation and are mates with the goblins and the night elfs are freidly to them as they helped them at hyjal so a raid would be odd. Sorry to sound eman XD

Maybe he means the Gnomer/Echo Island event? But that's not really a raid and that was meant to come out before Cata anyways...

Tbh I hope Blizz realizes not everyone is a raider/hard core or light or even has the chance to raid [I'd love to, but to many elitist people :DDDD] and does more events like the Shattered Sun/Tournament/Reclaiming Gnomer/Echo isles.

Tor'watha, there's an instance portal you can't zone in to at it, much like Zul'aman.

That's really a matter of taste. After WOTLK was released, I've considered WoW inferior to many other MMOs, for example EVE, which is still going strong, even after thirteen expansions (even if it has attracted what seems to be old trade chat into the neewbie corp channels).

Either way, WoW isn't what it used to be.

It is still, as Saturo said, a matter of taste.

I know several people who left WoW for Warhammer because they preferred it....minus the lag, which eventually drove them off.

Takes all kinds.

Thats true i was SO looking forward to warhammer online as i'm a big warhammer girly ive got heaps of armys and when i played that game i was SO disapointed about it :( YOU HAD TO PLAY AS A WORSHIPER OF TZEENCTH AND YOU COULD NOT CHOOSE YOUR DARK GOD TO FOLLOW IT HAD TO BE HIM! *sigh* Warhammer does not really suit the solo hero genre really i mean its all about giant battles and not the lone hero who wins the day (unless you have some very good dice rolls and have a lone swordsman take down 20 skaven before he dies :D).

My biggest concern is on fights like Ahune, where your pet goes down no matter what, unless it's by your side, and it's impossible to effectively target your pet on the adds.
Set pet to passive, hit macro /petattack pet will attack add you target untill dead then run back to you. Well thats how I do it atleast, haven't had mine die once, well except for when he grabs agro off of low geared tanks.

This is about BM, and BM is greatly weakened without the pet.

That's the problem- all our pet buffing abilities are gone. Until masteries at lv 78, we're going to be the weakest specc, no matter what shots we use, rotations we have or even if KC is buffed to an extent. And then even AFTER masteries are implimented at 78, BM will still be weaker because MM and SV will just shoot ahead.

I also am not holding my breath that we'll realkly get pet buffing talents- Demo just had all of theirs removed.

So the only real difference between BM pet and SV/MM pet is +4 talent points.

whoo.

Edit: Also, we won't even see Taming Exotics until lv 69/70.

Isn't that wonderful. That means those +4 talents and exotics must be as powerful as black arrow/chimera shot!!!!!!!

...

*sigh*

Hunter trees look really borked at the moment; I wouldn't take the current setup to heart.

Yeah, both the hunter tree's and the focus mechanic are slightly borked at the moment. Give it time, and give it some more beta builds to sort itself out.

Yeah but you know how Blizzard is, for Wrath, evidently 'Tame Exotics + 4 shiny pet points' was on par with chimera shot [ha] and black arrow [double ha]. So while I'll try and keep what you say in mind... Blizzard's already made a pessimist out of me atm for BM.

Why are we back on this string of negativity again?

Yes, BM looks really shabby at the moment, but we do not know the full extent of the forthcoming pet changes. Chances are, we'll see a LOT of changes to BM once the pet changes go in.

We're back at the negativity, because it doesn't look positive. They haven't even tried to fix BM yet.

See above. The pet pass is going to be a HUGE gamechanger for hunters and I expect that Blizzard wants to see how BM plays with the new pets before making massive changes to the tree.

Besides, as we can see from other classes as well as hunters, these smaller, less bloated talent trees are still undergoing major revisions. The beta is still young.

We just went through this. >_<

But the new trees aren't less bloated. They're just more stupid. And overall sucky.

And unfortunately, they don't seem to intend to fix it any time soon. And you can't blame that on pets. Pet-less classes are also screwed up.
