Got Terrorpene, Madexx (blue), Sambas, and Ghostcrawler. I was 2 seconds away from fighting another hunter for a Jadefang spawn (although, since I had gotten there second anyhow, I wouldve /bow /cheer them). It's only been a week, so there's no point in feeling bad about not having "this" ...

Well, my luck had to run out sometime. After getting Sambas this morning, and Ghostcrawler this afternoon, I fly to Deepholm only to get to JF and see just as someone is finished taming it. 2 rares in one day is insane. 3 would've just been silly. Still, I'll login in 6 hours and wait.

I always log off my hunter at a rare tame spawn point, and was lucky enough this time to log out at the exact right spot that Sambas spawn at. So 5 seconds after I logged in NPCScan went off and I was able to get him. Some people don't really like the model, whether it be the mouth or the giant mane...

That's awesome. Props to you for being a decent person in a game full of.... well, not too decent people.

On Khadgar I've yet to see anyone else with him.

He's so much larger that it's jolting.

There's a weird glitch that shows people as "Recruits of..." when they are actually full blown members. It's nothing crazy.

I spent 7 hours farming for him yesterday and got lucky and passed him while playing another character today. Talk about luck.

I had to get a healer to come help me due to my 0 fire resist.

For those who tamed him and was using an addon to search, was 50058 the correct NPC ID?

yea, my friend tried the same thing with the sleeping lions in the Barrens, no luck. I dont think the sleeping effect lasts through because it dissapears upon movement. Grrr. In my attempt to find a cat with a special effect I've been trying to figure out a way to tame the Frost Leopard's while under the "Zzz" effect during the "Tail's Up" quest in Zul'Drak. After about 45 minutes I just flat don't think it's possible with this mob/effect combo....

Dang, I thought/prayed/wished/hoped that this method would mean the Un'Goro Devilsaurs would keep their size, but sadly it doesn't. When it despawns after taming it is still giant, but upon relogging its back down to normal. Darn.

Took a bit, but I was able to get it with the help of a friend. Solo taming it is possible but MUCH trickier. I tried solo for about 20 minutes, gave up, called a friend and had it in 5. Didn't use traps or anything, just timing between the tame start and the torch throw. Definitely a cool pet. Love...
