Re: Vanity Items and Pets video
http://www.warcraftpets.com Good luck on a few of those, especially the holiday pets and time delayed pets (like trying to get every children's week quest reward) I am up to 145, need to snag 3 more (since the new achieves will automatically get me two pets.) Working on the Baradin Fox Kit and grind...

Ghost Hydra Talent Points
Ghost Hydras went from Tenacity (Croc) to Ferocity. Hence, until you go and untrain your hydra, it has 7 talent points. Once you reset, it "loses" the tenacity skills it had but couldn't access, and can now retalent in the ferocity tree. Also, is now a fun, viable heroics pet! Oh, and I am...

Ghostcrawler. (but not because he is a crab)
Did you know that if you solo Ghostcrawler, he drops a pony?*

Re: Well thats just depressing
I actually had a guildmate kill Karoma yesterday, totally not realizing it was a rare hunter-pet spawn (since the puppy is aggressive) and then they linked the tear, feeling all guilty and apologizing. Ironically enough, I had tamed Ghostcrawler only moments earlier, so was quite pleased in any case...

Re: Well thats just depressing
if it is any consolation, I have found Gondria four times and (since I don't want him) managed to find homes for him each time. Arcturis twice (after my own tame).
I found then all via npcscan doing NR archeology (a great dual activity combined with rare spawn finding)
Oh, and hugs given.

Re: Idea for soloing / taming strategies
My thought was this might be useful for the taming of oil-coated things and the non-broken, not-leaving upon death buffs, since the other methods were considered issues. Also, kind of an interesting idea for extreme soloing odd tactics, like Loatheb in Naxx, where you can (and need to) dismiss and s...

Idea for soloing / taming strategies
Last year's holiday gift was a mini-controllable zeppelin.
As an interesting side-effect using it instantly dismisses your pet.

Re: An Idea on Pet Abilities [Word Filled]
I've actually found that given that the commonly thought of "most important" buffs for the hunter to give via pet (corehound, wolf, cat, windserpent/dragonhawk, and ravager) are very often already filled by other classes. I check every group using an add-on that tells me the buffs/debuffs ...

Glad to be wrong!
I will be sure to update my "where did you get that?!" response from "trick tame, no longer possible" to "trick tame, go check the petopia forums for more information!".

Re: Am I the only hunter in existence who uses the Undead Ha
I find that whipsers are just part of my WoW experience. I find that half my pets are whisper-worthy. It makes me happy. Undead Hawk, Spirit Crab, Oil-Covered Wolf/Hawk, Sword in Head Wolf, Flaming Boar, Hydralisk, even the Pink Flamingo until 4.01 hit. The sword-in-head wolf is my favorite, since w...

Re: Ghostcrab! <Steal>
I got the three I want at this time (Warg, Bear, Crab) I might at some point go for the wolf (Karona), but with an almost full stable (24/25), I would have go go prune first. I don't really like the spirit beast cat models too much, and I have two tamed cats that match my real-life cats, so that is ...

Anyone know if the white (grey) dog-corehound is also silly loud? (I have one, but my sounds for WoW have been glitching recently.)

Agreed. I have multiple rares, and they all were log out / log in the spot, and a quick swing round if in the area. Stationary camping drives people crazy (and has proved fruitless for me)

Re: Ghostcrab! <Steal>
Got mine yesterday too. I had literally just resetmy npcscan after another hunter came by within range with his pet. Relogging after dumping the right file, npcscan went off again, so I assumed the other hunter was nearby, but a /who didn't show him. Then I saw the target on my map of where GC was s...

Unfortunately, the buffed pets are no longer tamable, as far as I know.
