I believe you can tame exotics as SV or MM, they jsut go to your stable. I did that on Skoll and Arcturis. Unless that has been changed.

Hang in there. I was about to give up as well....when mine hatched out. Bought eggs every week for nearly a year.

I grew up on a farm...with lots of critters......and one thing I learned.....is that NO ANIMAL is ever completely tamed. Even a dog can turn. My family is too important to me to risk bringing a wild animal into our house.

I did have a pet raccoon as a kid.

I think part of the problem is that WOW has become such a big place...with so many people. Competition for rares has grown.

I simply fished for food buffs for my toons. I got mine while fishing up eels in Ulduum.

My favorite was running across a warrior in Tol Barad. My trusty brain bug silithid promptly webbed him...while I pounded away. then i hit Big Red Silithid...and kill command.....and then intimidation......pounded away with Arcane....then as intimidation wore off, used Concussive shot.......kill ...

LOL THAT is going to be fun with my brain bug silithid.......he is my favorite PvP pet.

I used to see Ghost Sabers...but since we got he expanded stables, i rarely do anymore. i have had mine since level 19.

Arcturis was the hardest of the original 4 spirit beasts for me....simply because he is so camped. I made it a mission with a guild buddy....he found him at 9 AM server time. so next day, i logged on at 9 AM server time...and there he was.

There is a lot of luck AND patience involved in all rare ...

Hey all....new poster here. Thanks for all the hints and advice...tamed The Lone Hunter this morning.......worked like a charm (took about 4 tries to time it just right). Named him Scabbard.
