Re: Suggestions for our Lurker.. ;)
This is a fun idea! It would also be an interesting way to apply special auras to pets. Back in the day, cooking was especially useful for hunters, so it would be great to be able to cook up some of these. Indeed! Your idea of using cooking for this is also a very good idea. Gives an extra dimensio...

Re: Suggestions for our Lurker.. ;)
I have a somewhat strange request or wish I think, but still interesting in my opinion. Unless it is a bit outrageous ! :D My request or wish would be like a color slider for tameable pets, to finetune the colors or choose the colors of your pet by sliding a bar or something. I use as example a tame...

Re: Suggestions for our Lurker.. ;)
I always liked the demon dogs looks, but in my personal opinion they are a bit small in size. Would love to see them a little bigger like the mastiffs or what is appropiate or acceptable size for a demon dog. I don't mean really big but somewhat bigger than the size they currently are. I alway found...

Re: Poor Loque'nahak has "loque jaw"
It isn't my intention to bump up an old thread, but I think this thread is still very relevant. As far as I last checked, the mouth is still fused shut. Loque is still my most favorite pet, but the closed mouth is somewhat distracting or slightly disturbing. When Loque yawns it almost seems like he ...

Re: Amber Parasite tamable!
Better late than never.. but I got one too ! Very nice and the size is just right. I mean, if it shrunk to tiny size I think the graboid is less appealing, in my opinion that is. I also like the porcupine, but the size is just too small. Even size can make you like or dislike a certain pet, again in...

Re: Skoll not tameable after patch??
Some hunters I met didn't even know about sites or forums like wow-petopia ! I always try to squeeze a petopia url in the whisper I have with another person. Of course I will not always do that, I don't want to give a salespitch to the person. But when we have a good discussion going I'd like to men...

Re: Pet skins that are still untameable
That's very kind! Thanks :) I really do enjoy tracking all these down. It appeals to my OCD side I guess ;) (which tries valiantly to compensate for my lazy side) And thanks for posting... you reminded me I'd forgotten to update the thread for 4.3. From memory there are two new looks available (now...

Re: Skoll not tameable after patch??
Like many previous posters have mentioned: I too encountered a hunter who was confused about not able to tame a certain animal. especially the exotic ones. As a matter of fact it did happen to my friend once who has a hunter too. He wanted a red corehound. This was before patch 4.3 and 4.1 even. Any...

Re: Pet skins that are still untameable
I've nothing really to add to this wonderful thread. But if you don't mind I want to post my gratitude or thanks to Wain. Wain, you have done and still doing ofc a absolutely great job ! I for one didn't even know so many variations existed , but then again I don't use any modelviewer. Anyway, I thi...

Re: Gyroworms from Deepholm
We get a talent to tame exotic beasts.. Why not elemental beasts? Still elemental, still a tameable beast, win win. The phoenix could fall under this. The cinderdogs. Firehawks... Exotic rank2 Exotic Rank 2. Haven't thought about it in this way. sounds interesting. To make it more extreme: perhaps ...

Re: Gyroworms from Deepholm
As the topic starter I'd like to thank everyone in here. Thanks everyone for your point of views and as different as they might be, I can see and understand why some people think that the gyroworms are too elemental looking. I have doubts still myself, I don't want to be able to tame everything, all...

Re: Gyroworms from Deepholm
I agree and my own point of view. I wish Blizzard could do a poll at the general public once in a while to see which creatures/beasts the general public and hunters specifically want to be to tame. that would truely be awesome. the needs of the many outways the need of the few and not everybody will...

Re: Anyone else ever wish we could tame a Kodo?
I have to say , kodo's not per se but what about the kodo lookalikes. the thunderhead in Southern Barrens.
Absolutely great looking, nice color and if they would keep the lightning attack somehow, wow !
Also the tail spikes and the big spikes on the back. It already has armor of itself basically

Re: Gyroworms from Deepholm
Hi xakaal, Thanks also for your point of view and/or facts you have read about gyreworms in general. much appreciated :). I have to agree about the dust clouds. But the overall look or appearance is very nice I think. like you said, the rotating discs are a nice feature of this creature. Gyreworms n...

Re: Cats for an Undead Hunter.
It was mentioned before but I also think that Shadowclaw (rare) from Darkshore is a very good candidate. A nice dark skin with silver like stripes. very nice. And he's low level (13). Just the fact that his actual name is Shadowclaw gives it also a bit a dark or slightly evilish feeling about it I t...

Re: The Pet Debate Corner
ow i just made my own topic and i just overread that this thread was already here ! sorry about that. Gyroworms in Deepholm. However I realise now that they aren't actually beasts, but then again, Shale Spiders aren't really beasts as well (in the flesh and blood kind of beasts that is). Anyway, if ...

Re: Gyroworms from Deepholm
Hi Vephriel, Thanks for your comment. Indeed, on my own realm I don't see too many hunters with a worm as pet as well. But for some reason or another I like them very much (but only the worms from Northrend, not the other worms tbh). I have a Shale Spider as well and I like the buff it gives and the...

Gyroworms from Deepholm
Hello, My name is Jan and my first character created when I first installed Wow in 2007 (about the time of BC) was a hunter. It is still my favourite class to play. My favourite spec till this day is BM and I love to play as much as possible in this spec. But if I have to change spec because it will...
