Could be fun, def sounds like a lot of work! I guess it depends on how busy everyone one is with their current Petopia + Mount pages + RL though.
I do agree though that Petopia is such a nice and helpful site! I ALWAYS have it up in the background, even when I'm not subbed currently to WoW!

I feel like even if they 100% get rid of the old area and animals found there, they will prob update the existing models (even if they are no longer walking around to tame) so you prob wont be able to keep anything that looks exactly like it is now... for better or for worse.

I think locking threads that are super old and no longer appear to have any relevance wouldnt be a terrible idea. I'm not a fan of deleting posts just because they are old, as some times old posts can hold some valuable information. It's also a glance back into the past on how things were, how we us...

I would maybe see what someone who is very colorblind has to say though, as I'm unsure if the green links on the teal background of the index page would be an issue or not. I have trouble with certain colors, but not those ones, so to me it looks fine!

What happened to the hyena is a straight up crime :C
And poor Darkhounds lost all their character. They now use coyote skeleton/animations.

Also both darkhound AND hyena both make dog sounds and dog howls. Such a shame.

I'd be happy if we just got back the training pet system and having each pet be unique based on what you tame. Classic-style stuff.
But choosing spec would be nice to have again. No reason we shouldnt be able to customize our pets.

Congrats on finishing your tame list! Personally, I'd say go ahead and use what ever pet you want, even if its not the best pet family at this point. I use a Wolf still even though it would make more sense for me to get a clefthoof or something. I just love my wolf too much to care about much else. ...

Silliness aside, it will be interesting if it is actually a mythic thing or if it will also include heroic or something.

It will be interesting to see if they keep this around or not. I'm doubtful, but it would be nice since we cant change pet specs or... really customize our pets at all any more xD
