Re: Wal-Mart Policies
The first item on the list was a lady who had adamantly declared that the things she were buying could be bought more cheaply elsewhere. Well, without proof I needed a CSM to assist me. So I turned on my light and waited. And waited. And waited. For ten minutes. I know we've all waited in line at Wal-Mart, and it's no fun. So I finally just repriced them for her, and when a CSM did finally get to me, I told her what happened. She noted it, and that was that. But apparently, that was a big no no on my part. That one I understand. Next up was the FUN stuff. My cash drawer. I counted, and counted, and recounted my drawer every night. I had other people count my drawer. I'd insist on counting my drawer before breaks. And yet some how, even when I came up perfectly right, my drawer would go short when it got to the back. So at this point, even though SEVERAL CSM's had vouched for me. Manager Mitchel blatantly accused me of stealing. Now remember the three strike rule! I had never been schooled before. But Mitchel very calmly stated he wasn't even going to bother. He then says "I'll need your vest and your badge. Why don't you consider this a learning experience?" And I slammed them down and said "Why don't you kiss my ass?"
God I hated that place. I'm not a model employee by any means, but I'm not a bad one either. And to accuse me of stealing? Ugh.

Noways I would not willingly shop there because of their ethics but we still do not have a choice with the prices everywhere being outragous.

Well, what do you expect? From what I've read, they hardly pay their workers, they threaten their manufactorers, and they are overall unhealthy competition.Palladiamorsdeus wrote:Yea, same here. Wal-Mart is cheaper then most of the local stores in NC, and it has in fact driven several buisnesses to ruin.

The people there are... downright creepy.
Much rather go to Safeway.
(Mostly for their chicken and rice bowls, but still. >->)

On its own, nail polish remover contains Toluine and anybody who has ever worked with formica can tell you, a couple mins of breathing it can make you pretty loopy. Now lets watch the rush of people looking to become cabinetmakers!Chrizesu wrote:Nail polish remover is renowned for making meth...Mania wrote:Almost everything can be used as drugs.
