But I have played since World of Warcraft was released in 2004. So I guess that makes me a WoW Vet. Been a long time. But only the last two years have I been a 'serious' hardcore player.

Do I get a gold star? No? Aww!
Ahhh yes, the good old days. I remember the realm crashing once and it took 3 days to get back up. Blizz refunded time but still... I also remember that the boats would occasionally "sink" in the Maelstrom and you would pop out of the trans screen to find yourself in the middle of nowhere instead of the next port. If you got lucky you could make it to one of the islands before fatigue got you, but once there you had seconds to hearth before one of the ?? level hydras found you. And AV...glorious battles that would go on for hours! Yes, they were indeed the good old days.Rhyela wrote: So...yeah...five years.Long enough to remember the days of CC, mostly-normalized pets, and when the world was fresh and new. No arena, no bajillion players on every server, no GS. World PvP existed and it was fun (ah, I remember the attacks on Astranaar, Southshore, etc.). Yep...those were the good ol' days.
I detect a note of bitterness in your quote...Vespias wrote: Ahhh yes, the good old days. I remember the realm crashing once and it took 3 days to get back up. Blizz refunded time but still...
