Re: Midnight Alpha/Beta Thread
Has anyone found a way to make her neutral or hostile?

All the other mandragora's lower jaw clip on the middle head. But the lightbloom one doesn’t.

This has been an issue since Mandragora were first implemented. The Lightbloom version had the issue fixed, but the old ones have not.DannyGreen wrote: ↑Mon Mar 02, 2026 4:35 am Something kind of weird is. The only mandragora that isnt broken is the lightbloom one.

Don't know who the genius is that discovered this, but saw it posted on the Secret Finders discord. Source: https://x.com/allyparser/status/2028342978625015949

Re: Midnight Alpha/Beta Thread
The lightbloom mandragora is fixed because it actually uses a different and identical model, which doesn’t have the neck clipping, and if you noticed; the lightbloom mandragora’s leaves are rounder and smoother as opposed to the pointier jagged leaves on normal mandragoras, hence why I tamed the lightbloom mandragora, at least until normal ones are fixedValnaaros wrote: ↑Mon Mar 02, 2026 12:09 pmThis has been an issue since Mandragora were first implemented. As for the ghoul I am dying of laughter. Either it’s a weird unintentional bug or maybe it could be a hint to having more minion looks and types that could be collected for the raise dead spell. That could convince me to play death knight just like how convinced I am to main a hunter forever
Re: Midnight Alpha/Beta Thread
The ghoul thing is hilarious.

There's a glyph that switched the ghoul to a geist. I don't remember if there's other options.

The only other option aside from the Geist is the glyph of the skeleton. I use Geist on my DK, I see so many undead creatures I want to use on my dk, putting aside beasts, lots of cool ghoul models and other stuff

Oops! Thanks for catching that! Fixed nowWerebearGuy wrote: ↑Wed Mar 04, 2026 12:40 pm There's a minor error on the consumptor naming conventions. The Black & White and Brown consumptors have their names mixed up.

Siggy under construction!
Re: Midnight Alpha/Beta Thread
Thanks! Of course! I should have thought of that. I've seen that plenty of times over the years but didn't realise that was the term for it.Bowno wrote: ↑Thu Mar 05, 2026 3:00 am 'Taffy Teeth' usually refers to when the lower teeth share weights with the upper teeth, so they stretch instead of just being weighted to the lower jaw. I'm guessing that's whats happening here. It's happened a few times, which is so weird to me because that's something that is so easy to notice when working on the model D;

Re: Midnight Alpha/Beta Thread
EDIT: Barbtooth Bloodtracker is also tameable (Wowhead doesn't show it correctly), spawns under similar conditions, and could also brick a nemesis encounter. Yes, I purposely bricked myself again to test it.
EDIT 2: Razorshell Ravager, spawned by Nullaeus when he randomly invades your delve (why can he do this already lmao), can be tamed as well, and absolutely bricks the fight. The ravagers are spawned as a mechanic that you need to kill to get Nullaeus to leave his invincibility phase, but taming one will permanently lock him in that phase. Your only option is to die if you want his loot; feign death doesn't work.
EDIT 3: Found Wain... sort of. RIP. He may not be a beast that bricks a delve, but this was still funny enough to post.

Re: Midnight Alpha/Beta Thread
Regular saptors have lovely glowy 'tendrils' (I know there's a proper plant term but I can't remember right now:
The Lightbloom ones have more areas that actually glow on the model and constantly have a sparkly sound effect. The sounds they make are also different, being louder and deeper and having diff intonations.

Re: Midnight Alpha/Beta Thread
There's no NEED, sure. For me though, I like having unusual IDs tamed. I still have Nesting Valeshrieker on one of my alt hunters, and it's no longer tameable, for example. If these get fixed so they aren't tameable, then cool, that's three fun IDs. If they don't, then that's fine too, because they won't be back (probably) when season 2 happens since the minions change with the new nemesis of the season. I like saying I have pets that aren't available anymore, so this extremely niche scenario is my thing. I'm just finding stuff I (and nobody else apparently) never found on beta and reporting it, is all. Plus, these three weren't listed on Petopia when I posted, so there's still merit besides the amusement factor!
Baihu: I didn't notice the difference in audio. That's neat. The glowing bits are part of the saptors' charm, but the lightbloom one having unique sounds makes me appreciate it more.
