That was always the plan, Wain. I just happened to want to come clean to hopefully push aside any more random sightings since it does sometimes get out of hand. As for PMs, I will keep that in mind should my tickets take longer than anticipated in the future. They've generally been within 2-3 days since TWW, but I'll certainly throw you messages if I need your dev bat signal :P

I openly admit to finding bugs and exploits so they can be reported asap and get fixed. You might have seen some of the fun hunter pet side effects posted here in the past.

I will never share how to perform exploits. The only ones who know are those I personally trust to help get things fixed.

Just things like the baby mammoth where someone at blizz maybe labeled something wrong. Are there other good places to find this info? because I know this stuff is often patched pretty quick and we are quickly exiting the start period of the expansion. Thanks!
I missed your post, whoops. Don't worry though; you didn't miss anything this time. There just wasn't anything at all that fills that niche with the launch of Midnight. That info would have been shared here if any such openly available pets did exist. Mammoths, as well as other silly cases like the salamanthers (rip) and vorquin foal (also rip) usually get found in the first couple of days, be it pre-release or actual release, but no such pet exists this time around that fills that criteria. Honestly, they gave us two years' worth of openly tameable unintended things with the red eels and the two slugs in Azj'kahet, and the cloudrooks are arguably another unintended thing since the majority of those are untameable elementals rather than beasts.

Wow, the amber scorpids are tiny. I never really compared them to other scorpids before lol. That or the crystal scorpids are just huge. Either way, I'm more interested in scorpids now.

Hi All! I’ve followed Petopia since Vanilla, but rarely post. Since the size of the scorpids came up, I noticed that many of the pets in Midnight scale in size significantly smaller than previous expansions once tamed. I really noticed it with the canine Shredclaws and the Chloroceroses. That would sometimes help depending on if you slotted pets as your secondary BM pet, but it doesn’t do much in these cases. Rhazul, however, is bigger than the salad rhinos 😂

That said, I’m loving all the new looks, and hopefully the other Grimlynxes get tamable options soon!

I’m so glad Petopia has stayed active this past 20+ years; so many of my favorite sites are long gone. Nothing but thanks to y’all who keep things going for us pet fanatics 🦤🪼🦉

There's two good reasons as to why the chloroceroses are so small. Firstly is that they're long models; they would take up an absurd amount of room if they were larger. Second, it's that their family (direhorn) intentionally scales down a lot. If they were scalehides, clefthooves, or even lizards, they'd be much bigger. I think Blizzard didn't specifically intend for them to be small, but the choice of putting them in the direhorn family has allowed that family to have some much needed diversity. The whiptail family seems to scale down quite a bit, but Rhazul is a good example of what I mean with a long model. It's by far one of the longest pets in its idle stance, along with (either equal to or dwarfed by) the new amazards. Both are REALLY long, and if they scaled up, it'd be proportionate. Rhazul isn't the largest pet, but it's pretty borderline already as it is. The shredclaw whiptails are small only because the whiptail family is small, but the fact that they're MUCH smaller than Rhazul, they shrink down quite a bit. It's a funny quirk with pet scales, and newer additions tend to suffer for their predecessor's limitations. Can't really say why the scorpids have such a size discrepancy, considering they're all roughly the same size in terms of proportions, but it's Blizzard. Any number of reasons could be behind it lol.

Agreed with the grimlynxes though; surely those will make it in at some point. I need that brown and green one (conveniently the only unused look) badly.

OH GOD I KNOW RIGHT?!
Maybe it's cos I play an orc so i'm just big in general but I was so disappointed when I tamed those blood beasts with the boils on their back and it was minipet sized. I was hoping the Rhinos and the thornmaw monsters were bigger. I can deal with the Amazards but even then, really small just long.

I think considering pets shrink on other peoples screens it would be great if we could have Glyphs. TW FOR BLIZZ since they seem to be terrified of them kek.
Or just a option at a stable master.
"My pet is fat put him on a diet" Smaller pets
"My pet's looking a little thin, let's up his feed" Larger pets
"Premium feed for a Premium pet" Size +2

It'd NEED to be for you only, because some pets being made larger would definitely be an issue in pvp, and we all know that's all Blizzard cares about. Though, give me an option for original NPC size and I'm happy. I want Ik'thik Colossus at his true, glorious size. Dire Beast version isn't enough.
