Well, time to sell my hunter with "No longer obtainable pets"

Only reason I made this hunter is to be a pokemon master

I used to be able to solo-tame the flaming boars, but lately I've had no luck.

I'm a level 60 fem orc, there's no dueling allowed there so I'm not sure how this "current" method would play out.
Any suggestions?

Got it on my first try, tossed the thing @ 2 seconds left on tame.

It's not working anymore.

When did this happen? Just logged on and both my oil pets are still stained, and my fire boar is still on fire.

Plus, I feel " rewarded " when I can get something using the revive method, because it seems like a more natural way, rather than using a script.

I accidentally pressed the abandon pet macro in a dungeon with my flaming boar, and had to tame a new one ( in two tries /flex )

I was level 77 with BoA gear, the wolf I just got lucky with timing, but the oil hawks always die within one serpent sting.

The revive method works as of 6/17, just tamed another oily wolf as horde, it took about 10 tries but I got it.

Yes, that was me, and I used the revive method ( sorry I didn't mention it in the other post ) but I can't get my abandon macro to work, at all. I was late to the hunter scene, so it's never worked for me, but the revive method / timed method(s) have worked. I have the Armored Boar / Oiled Fledgelin...

Just tamed an Oiled Fledgeling and Oil-stained Wolf today, solo ( horde as well )

I'm pretty sure it's fixed, I can only tame certain ones with the revive exploit ( flaming boar ) and the rest of the time, I revive them and they come back normal.

Looked everywhere, but it's always a different answer.

Title pretty much sums it up, I just got my flaming boar last night, but it was with the revive exploit.

This was my first rare tame on my new hunter, wasn't hard to spot that or the huge white gorilla.
I think there's a new croc as well.

As of 6/12/2011, does the macro-spamming method still work? I've been trying for days now and it doesn't seem to, though I just tamed the fire boar with a different method.

I signed up just to let you know, I did this solo today as a level 73 hunter.
So it's still working 6/12/2011
